Move quickly over soft ground in the TRAILTALON GTX waterproof trail running shoes. Built for running on tough, mixed terrain, the TRAILTALON GTX is an evolution of our hugely popular ROCLITE range and excels on any surface. Fully waterproof, the TRAILTALON GTX will keep your feet dry and warm thanks to a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane.

The graphene-infused rubber outsole gives you uncomprimising grip on soft surfaces such as mud, but also slippery woodland trails and hard rocky ground. Inspired by the hoof pattern of the mountain goat, the TRAILTALON GTX has 6mm cleats that grip firmly onto the toughest of surfaces. The multi-directional cleats allow the shoe to release the ground just as quickly, propelling you onto your next stride.

Trail running shouldn't feel uncomfortable. Feel light and bouncy with the combination of our POWERFLOW PRO midsole foam and BOOMERANG FOOTBED working together to help you hop over the most challenging of terrain.

The rugged upper of the TRAILTALON GTX features engineered mesh with breathable zones and reinforced areas where the shoe is likely to see more wear. A strong heel cradle delivers a secure, locked-in fit, while a toe bumper protects against any unseen obstacles on the trail.

For a comfortable, bouncy ride over any type of trail, the TRAILTALON GTX offers the ultimate in grip and cushioning.

Features

Graphene-Infused Rubber Outsole

Get uncompromising grip on any terrain. 6mm graphene-infused rubber lugs give formidable grip and traction on soft, wet and hard surfaces. Shaped like the hoof pattern of a mountain goat, the lugs cling to any surface, then release just as quickly while propelling you on to your next stride.
POWERFLOW PRO Midsole

A bouncy, cushioned ride that retains high levels of responsiveness is provided by the new POWERFLOW PRO foam midsole. This amazing underfoot comfort and propulsion is built in a way that still allows for the ground-feel you need when running over uneven, technical terrain.
GORE-TEX Waterproof Membrane

Keep dry through puddles and rain with the TRAILTALON GTX's waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. This works to keep water out, while still being breathable and allowing sweat to escape the shoe as vapour. Perfect for those longer wet weather runs when you want your feet to stay comfortable and warm.
BOOMERANG Footbed

Preserve your energy on long runs with the BOOMERANG Footbed. The insoles feature hundreds of foam beads that compress and spring back for 40% energy return during your stride. Perfect for longer runs where maximising every bit of energy counts.
Choice Of Fits

The TRAILTALON GTX hugs the natural contours of your foot, locking you in at the heel and then widening at the toes. Available in Standard Fit and Wide Fit. Go Wide Fit if you have wide feet or would like more room when running longer distances.

Product Care

Running Footwear

To maximise the life of your running shoes, make sure you dry them fully between runs. When dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to maintain the flexibility of the upper and its resistance to wear.
Washing:

For best results hand wash your shoes as close to the end of your run as possible. To wash your shoes:
1. Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
2. Brush off dried/caked mud using a soft brush.
3. Rinse your shoes under cold running water while brushing off any remaining mud/debris (an old toothbrush is perfect for this).
Drying:

Place your shoes in a warm room, an airing cupboard or outside (but not in direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry your shoes in a tumble drier or next to radiators, fireplaces or hot summer sunlight.

You can speed up the drying process by removing the shoe’s insole and shoelaces, and by stuffing them with newspaper.

Make sure your shoes are completely dry before wearing again.
RE-WATERPROOFING:

As with all water-repellent treatments, over time they begin to lose their effectiveness. To maintain your shoe’s waterproof finish, we recommend periodically re-waterproofing them using a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
